I cried today

My wife took my P & J to School today whilst I got hers MOT'd.

Whilst Parked in the car park some scroat has keyed "sex" in the boot lid and "love" in the drivers door in letters 8" high . I've tried "T" cut but the scratches are too deep.
Boo hoo hoo hooo hoo

Funny thing is, her car never gets touched - (a Boxster S).

I just hope the CCTV shows something - but I'm not hopeful.

It's a sad day indeed.

I don't think I'll ever understand what goes on in someone's mind to do a thing like that. Not only to damage a strangers property, but on a car like a Tuscan with reflex paint (not that it makes a difference regarding car or paint!) but you just don't expect even the chav scrotes to do that. Argh!

so sorry to hear about that, so depressing to think that there are people out there with that sort of mentality, and your stunning paint colour won't be cheap to respray I don't imagine. Best of luck getting it back to it's former glory as soon as possible.

I V hope that your insurance will cover this, however i had a problem with my policy when the paintwork got damaged. Some may remember, but my garage door came off its hinges and (sprung loaded) came down onto the roof of my Tusc.
Anyhow, the insurance would only cough for the damaged panels, and not a complete respray. Now, i have reflex paint and the bodyshop repeatedly told the insurance that you could NOT just spray one or two panels, it would never look right. Further to this, the cost of reflex paint is truly unbelievable....

So the long and the short of it was that a full respray cost the guts of 5k and i had to pay half....

As for the little fecker who damaged your car, well, i would hang em high.

Gits, sorry to hear that. I quite often need to visit schools with work, and leaving an Elise parked outside draws the crowds, I'm always nervous some scrote will do something similar to mine.

Sorry to hear your story!! I am nervous where ever I park my car, thyis kind a thing makes me sick.

I have the same colour car as yuou mate and i understand there is not much paint about very limited colour would be interested to know how you got on.

Some one offered me 2 litres for £700 as it was the last EVER!!! apparently

Remember talking to a owner of cascade copper Tusc that I went to look at a few years ago who had had some scratches blown over, and you really couldnt tell, apparently it blends quite easily??!!

When I managed to smash my own cascade violet Tusc into more than a few pieces I was told it was still possible to get the paint, if your struggling, a few people suggested contacting RAGE paints , also Gerbil? off these boards was quite helpful....would also be worth contacting Torque TVR because they seemed pretty confident it could be sourced aswell.
