Slim spring compressors required
Discussion
Hello,
I’m trying to change the rear shocks as the old ones are leaking. I’ve done the job before on an old Audi Coupe and was expecting a straight forward job here. Unfortunately, the hooks on the spring compressors we're too fat to grab in between the coils on the springs.
These are the Draper ones that I currently have which do not fit.

Can anyone suggest where I can get a set with slimmer hooks suitable for the Griff?
Cheers

As long as you allow the wishbones to extend you definitely don't need a compressor. Thanks for the quick answers!!
I’ll give it a careful go without compressors.
I’d like to re-ask the same question and apply it to the front suspension though. Is this the same? The “bible” depicts the use of compressors here and I think I may run into the same trouble with the hook size…
