Cerberas and horses
Discussion
The family had a day out at a local horse event at Charing, Kent last weekend. It was a small gathering. Naturally most vehicles were either horse boxes or 4x4s. However, there were also two Cerberas. If I had taken mine it would have been three. Statistically, this is wrong, very wrong. What is going on?
I think I know. When I first proposed the idea of a TVR to the wife it depended on two things: it needed four seats and I would have to sanction the purchase of a pony. I can't be the only owner to face such a demand.
Maybe the female equivalent of a TVR is a horse. (Interested to know what the male equivalent of a TVR is for female owners).
Maybe, Cerberas and horses go together: good looks, fun, performance, cost, rough ride, leather accessories, shows etc.
Interested in other owners' thoughts.

Definitely not disposable income. One of the reasons I went for the Cerbera was its low purchase cost compared with other cars. We also carefully budget for the horse but life is just too short to not give these things ago if you can. If anything, the horse is my biggest worry, I could sell the car if we fell on hard times but 'Tilly' is now part of the family.

Cerbera's or any high maintenance motorized thingy can be put in the garage and forgotten about when it sh*ts itself! Horses however still want bails of hay chucking over the fence Christmas/New years day! My ex had 32 of them.
But, if things get really bad you can eat a horse! The French have been doing it for years.

Both the car and horse are 10-years old. The horse has an after-market warranty but not the car! Can you get a warranty for a 10-year old Cerbera, if so how much? Last time I tried to make a claim on another car the insurance company spent mote time trying to wriggle out of the deal than helping me.
I've never tried horse, is it like camel?

I wouldnt worry to much about repairs, i worryed a lot before i got mine, 2yrs on and apart from services tyres brakes nothings broken, i dont use it everyday but do use it at weekends and generally aim for half a dozen track days a year.just do it and at least the pony will stop your daughter hanging about on street corners and wanting to go into town on a sat night, she'll be too busy getting the pony ready for the show.
My 13yr old wanted a horse. I told her I would set her up with one "on loan" for 3 months said and if she was still happy shovelling 100 tons of s
t per year when the 3 months was up I would buy her one. She lasted 2 weeks of getting up at 5 am and getting on the bus shovel in hand and I bought a Cerbera.

That sentence is a conundrum, but my interpretation is female equivalent of a TVR? For this one, it's a TVR
.(And who said women were complicated?
)
maybe its just me but i look at a cerbera and think that is one of the best cars in the world in my eyes! and when i look at a horse i feel nothing! no emotion whats so ever i really would not care if one died right infront of me and if i ever went to france i'm sure i would eat them too!

Try riding a proper one, you will change your mind, if you have the bottle!! I did and I have to take claim for "really" developing a Cerbera to a much higher potential so can probably represent both sides fairly. Riding a full on thoroughbred on both counts.
We were at the same event in Charing on Sunday, sadly I had to bring our freelander as me partner plus brand new baby will not fit in a T350c so it could have been 4 TVRs. (must persuade partner that we need a cerbera as well as it has 4 seats)
