help needed re 89 esprit turbo re fuel injection

i was wondering if any body new when they started putting the gm fuel injection systems into the esprit's in 89, I am just in the process of buying an 89 that was manufactured 01/89 and was curious?

Hi,

All the '89's have the GM Engine Management System. The Chargecooler appeared in 89½ with the introduction of the SE (Special Equipment) model which continued through '93. Happy Motoring! Jim'85TE
