as you can tell i'm planning on keeping the hsv for the next 100k miles ;-)

can anyone advise of the prices for:

steering track rod ends

front and rear wheel bearings

nothing particularly wrong with the ones on the car - but feel that it may be preventative maintainace time while i have some money

Yes, complete with abs senor. Just bolt on with 3 screws. No messing about with the bearing itself.

The rod ends are pedders parts. I think i also have some genuine GM ones. Will check stock for you tommorow, though these are more expensive.

For VT owners, i do need to know the thread type on the track rods. Some cars have a fine pitch thread.

there was a BJ/TE/RE change around vin# L492505, my yr2000 GTS (UK) #18 uses the TE3049 end which I think is the coarse thread type. Earlier were 16mm thread. Are the wheel bearings the same throughout the VT2 range?

Yes. VT1 are different though.
