How sads am I?

Got stuck on the M40 this morning in an 11 mile tailback due to a jacknifed lorry. Didn't move an inch for 90 minutes (car turned off) but then had to crawl along at 2mph for ages.

Car obviously got very hot. Temperature hit 95..then 100..then 105 (at this point I've got the heater on )...then it gets to 110....arghhhh, now I'm sure the radiators going to blow..... so what do I do?.................................. I talk to my car, beg her not to break down on me and promise to give her a full valet if it makes it

Well sure enough she made it, and me being true to my word have just spent 3 hours cleaning it.

Didn't want to tempt fate by ignoring my promise

This kind of thing is beginning to sound all too frequent. I know in a couple of months we will all have forgotten about it but it will happen again next year.

Joolz, does your radiator mod for the cerbie (I know you don't do sp6 stuff) reduce engine temps a lot or does that require a bigger/more cores ally radiator?

I am guessing there isn't a fan override like you can use for the griff.

Something to think about over the winter.
