lamba Question

Can someone please tell me were do you put the lamba sensors when you de-cat your car ??

Because I cant find mine !!

You probably ought not to remove the lambda sensor; the ECU still needs it to optimise the mixture for economy and to ensure smooth running.

Ought not remove it !!! I cant find it/them

Perhaps the ECU was modified so as not to need them? What engine/car? These days the pre-cat sensors can be fairly close to the cylinder head.

Its a Z3M S50 Engine , I had someone do a diagnostic a few weeks back and he said my lambas were hardly reading anything !! said 5volts or 5 something so I am trying to find were the modifier who removed the cats previously , where he put the lambas ? the car was re-mapped months ago and seemed fine , mabey slightly lumpy however the idle is very eratik and a strong smell of petrol

Well stone the crows great fantastick now all I need to do is see how I can get to them as its very tight on space under the hood.....

Try euro car parts or GermanSwedish or a Bosch agent.

Cheers got trade through a Bosch agent just over 50 each

Any tips on fitting them ? they are in the manifold and access looks prity grim
