does any know what the cause of engine cutting out. Had to go down bumpy track proir to problem. Then it would start but not idle unless helped. Could I have knocked something underneath?

Worth checking the usual suspects, lead off, clean stepper (always worth doing), something else come loose.
Bumpy track may have dislodged something. We had a lead come off the dizzy the other day.

Thanks for the advice, will give it a go asap. Had her delivered the other day from fernhurst tvr and the first time I take her out I managed to break her.
Not quite as bad as when I had a tuscan a couple of years back. I span it into the central reservation, going from dry to wet tarmac. Dont have much luck with cars. Fortunatly very minor damage, but very expensive to put right.
Back to the griff, have been told to check fuel pump connections at rear of car. Possibly ignition coil needs replacing.
Thanks again, busy weekend to figure out what it is.

Air leaks have caused most problems I've encountered with idling, particularly cutting out on RV8s.
