I live in Devon, where there seems to be quite a few Christmas Tree farms. When I lived in London there was a guy who would deliver, set-up, decorate and then take the tree away after christmas for about £300, he seemed to do quite well, I thought this might be a good Xmas earner, anybody here have thier tree deliverd.

£30?!!! You Northants lot are bonkers! I got an 8 footer for £6, then got the bird to decorate it (and the rest of the house), and then burnt it.

Bah 'umbug wink

Rob

well I suppose it may be worth just burning the bird, then using her carcass for decorations, **** the tree off, and spend the money on Beer.
I think I'll try another time!

My bird has already secured next years tree, it's a giant redwood, and she is in fact (you heard it on the internet so it must be true) being paid to have it. All decorations are currently being hand crafted by victorian street urchins especially rounded up and sent tut workhouse to do so, and I've negotiated exclusive rights to throw everything in to Mount Etna once we've decided we've had enough - including the Victorian street urchins.

We are not much help to the original poster are we, sorry!

If the London lot want to pay £300 for a tree service then go for it, screw every last penny out of them.

We'd probably have one delivered and collected - not for £300 though.

I tell ya, the OP has something with this idea, he's just not thinking big enough! It's all about the target audience! Think of all the noovo richy chavettes who would die to have a gold lamé chrimbo tree? A few quid from Argos, delivered and installed to some hellish Beckingham Manor type place to ensure the perfect Christmas, got to be a £10k service surely? And enviromentally friendly 'cos it's not even a real tree - blinder!

Cheers,
Rob
