Have noticed a noise recently - especially going over speed humps and bumpy roads - seems to be coming from front n/s and can best be described as a single 'clack' noise at each bump
Just passed MOT with no pick ups so what should i look for?

They all do that sir. Try anti-roll bar drop links, top ball joints, worn suspension bushes, horn hitting bodywork, loose wheel nuts or worn out passenger.

I had same thing front left side. car passed MOT but when i did up the wheel nuts one day the torque caused by the wheel brace moved the whole wheel.Jacked up car pushed hard on top face of tyre and there was movement in the top wishbone.Turned out to be top rear bush was shot.Bought a new top wish bone arm and had it inplace in 1hour.Difference in noise etc was amazing. The old bush literally fell out of the arm as the rubber had disintigrated.

I had exactly the same thing (very annoying as the approach to my home has 3 speed bumps)...turned out to be the upper drivers side ball joint....about £20

I had similar noises and it turned out as a sign of two dead Front Shocks.
