Last time I went to Le Mans I used Speed Ferries from Dover who seemed to take extra care loading the car (Tuscan II).

This year I am taking the Sagaris and am thinking of using Brittany Ferries from Poole. However having not used them before I am concerned about the ground clearence on the Sag - around 3 inches - and the potential ramps on loading.

Has anyone used them and can put my mind at rest?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Can't help you directly, but we used this ferry a couple of years ago and this lot joined us without any problems.

I would imagine that Brittany Ferries will be OK. Travelled with them loads and there never seem any problems with load and off loading.

We've used Brittany ferries many times (including with a Sagaris), and have not experienced any problems with loading/unloading.

Suggest you ask for a 'low-load' when they're allocating you a lane for embarkation - should ensure a flat-level entry to the vessel.

Oh, and by-the-way - their restaurants are usually first-class as well!
