Removing Pre CATs

Old one I know and no doubt their are countless posts on here but I havent seen one with a "how to remove pre CATS"

Im waiting on a set of std manifolds and then intend on cutting out the pre CATS..............

so is it a case of cutting into the pipe and removing the CAT and re-welding (TIG)...........

Can you extractt he pre CAT from the front by breaking it up?


if not how much do you cut away?

also i was planning on sleeving the silencer too!

Has anyone just removed pre CATs and left the rest?

Results? better on the ears i hope!
