Commute 150 miles a day on train. Costs £650 a month. Is the MP3 a viable alternative?

One of those three wheeler things? I think you might suffer from lack of power on the Mway, but they look like they have good frontal weather protection, so I guess it might be OK?
It'd probably eat tyres fairly quickly I would have thought.

The only reason i waas looking at the super scooter was improved weather protection and the 2 wheel at the front thing looks like being good for safety in poor conditions. At the end of the day it's never going to be a fast journey so outright performance isn't a real issue.

No, but you need something you can filter confidently on - my only concern would be the width and maneuverability of those 3 wheel things.
I've never seen anybody filtering on a super scoot come to think of it...
