LeMans weather 2008

Metcheck do event forecasts well in advance - obviously not very accurate at distance and they don't have one for Le Mans.
But the IOW festival is on at the same time and it's not *that* far away... http://metcheck.com/V40/UK/FREE/event_forecast.asp...

Last year I dreamed three times in March of a very wet Le Mans and posted it here. I just thought it was a funny event then but it actually happened. This year I've had two dreams exactly the opposite - not just hot but like 2003 here in France, hotter than 2005 at Le Mans. Like a serious heat wave. If it happens I'm going to start backing the horses!

hope you are right! As said it is against the law to have more than a few showers two years on the trot at LM.
After last year which wasn't far off the reports I heard about 1995 (the last real bad one rain wise before '07 iirc) I am expecting a hot one for this year.
But if it's wet who cares? So long as the tent is up in time or during a lull that's all I care about. Rain just means it's eaier to keep the beer cold and the dilema as to leaving our £10 tent on Sunday night or packing it away for Thruxton the w/e after is solved

It seems to be wet every severn years- and 2001 was another really wet one as well. I think it was 2 years ago where it rained on the thursday, but scorching during the weekend.
