Afternoon all.

In a Chimp, I had just about enough headroom (roof on smile)

Yesterday, I popped into Henley TVR and sat in a T350, Tuscan and a Tamora, and there definately seemed to be less headroom.

So, the question is, which TVR has the most headroom?

Is it the Cerbie?
Is it a T350T?
Or, as I suspect, a Chimaera?

Sagaris - the hump in the drivers side was so people can wear helmets when in there.

How true I have no idea. Being 5 foot 4 means I have lots of headroom no matter if I am in the Chim, Sag or Ians LW Cerb....

I'm 6" 1 and have loads of room in a cerbera but its very dependent on how you like the seat. If you are a bolt upright sort of person you may struggleat 6" or over. I'm more laid back.

Yeh - I think that is my problem. I like to sit upright frown

Anyone have to take some of the padding out of the T350 seat?

At 6ft 2inch I have ample headroom in all newer generation TVR's. One thing I have noticed, however, is that the Cerbera and to a lesser extent the Sagaris have low window top levels so I have prefered driving with the seat base cushion removed. My Griff was no problem at all.

One big problem I had as a passenger in a Chimera once was lack of room for my knees due to dash design. I know, answer to that is don't be a passenger!

You are only 6 inches high!!! Wow, how do you drive at all? hehewink

Being 6' myself, I don't have any headroom issues in the Wedge. Normally because I'd rather be shot than have the roof up (the snow at Goodwood last month being the exception). Say no to mullets!

Seriously for a sec, I have been in both a Chim and the Wedge with the roof up and I felt a lot less cramped with more headroom in the Wedge.

The centre cushion comes out of the seat in a Tuscan -
I have seen tall people remove this to improve the headroom situation - seems comfy enough.

I was told it was designed this way as PW is a tall chap

I'm 6`3" and don't really have trouble with the head hight in the Cerbera's.....In fact i think it's the perfect driving position for me.

i am 6 foot 6 inchs 20 1/2 stone and have no problem driving my chimaera with a roll bar which stops full travel on the seat, though my head does make contact with the roof on some irish roads !i have driven all the tvr models and have no problem driving them however the tuscan is the hardest to get into, catching me in the middle of the back,no issues once i am in though.

Let me put an end to this. I'm 6'8" and drive a Tuscan comfortably with the seat cushion in. If I'm feeling especially tall I take the cushion out for a change but find it makes my bum go numb after a while.

Maybe you have long legs - or I have a long back!

Depends which Cerbera I suppose. The later models have a slightly larger windscreen/smaller rollbar padding/less of a letterbox feel. Depends on size, how you sit etc. I find it a little tight with a helmet on but that's my seating position being a shorty I suppose.

nearly 6'3" and just about fit into my Tam. Head nudges the 'roll bar' section of the rear screen occaisionally. If I had a perm, I think my hair would be hitting it all the time!! Foolishly I didnt get in the car with the roof on before I bought it, so handly really... that adrenaline rush of seeing it in the showroom....

Agreed there is more room in Chim, didnt have any issues in my old one.
