anyone know what the correct capacity is for the air conditioning R 134 refrigerant in a yr2000 GTS UK?

without me reading the whole files the holden manual says it the same as VT1 775 - 825g
send me an email and i'll try sending you the info i have as a pdf, it contains the procedures for regassing

Got mine done at Jaguar - Inverness 2 weeks ago for £74 inc. and they washed and hoovered the car! And a test drive in the new XF but that's another story driving yes thumbup

I'm a driver for jaguar and they are going to recharge the beast for me (at a discount I hope!), problem is the techs don't want to do it until they know the correct charge... thanks for the info above, i'll email for the pdf procedure. Great forum this.

got the PDF, thanks Paul, a good read. One last small problem I have, I cant find the High side chrage adaptor on the car!! I can easily see the Low side charge adaptor, at towards the rear RH side of the engine, but where the F**k is the High side one. As the Jag techs are quality there is no way they are going to just pump in some new refrigerant, they will want to evacuate the old first. Any help would be apprecited

Thanks for the help Paul,I finally found it hidden under the plastic shroud covering the radiator at the front RH side, by the air filter box. Actually, there is a note stamped on the plastic shroud saying "AC charge port below" but I didn't see this due to the amount of road dust obscuring it. Time for an engine bay clean out I think.
