help fan belt

I took the worn fan belt off the car and it was matched at my local motor factor but the belt keeps coming off even when adj tightly i think it is the wrong belt the alternative replacement is erc5836 but that no means nothing to every part supplier i have tried, anybody know what car this is off ??
