Hi

If you google "professional logo design" it obviously brings up alot of companies/individual designers offering this but there seems to be varying prices for basically the same things e.g.

5 concepts
feedback
1 concept to go forward
Unlimited Redrafts of chosen concept
Final Design on CD in Format jpg, vector, etc etc

But the prices companies are quoting for this are varying from £50 - £500 + VAT

Is there a reason why there is such different prices out there? Is there anyone in the business who can give me an idea of what they charge for such service?

Many Thanks

when gettingf your logo done, try to get it done in vector format.

then you can scale it up and down with no loss of quality.

ie letterhead vs van sign writing vs billboard

anyone charging £50-500 is not a professional.

I'm one of the world's leading logo designers, and I don't mind helping out PHers.

As mentioned above, £50-500 is unlikely to get you a high quality brand identity. It's not just about shoving a name, font and icon together.

The starting ground with us is more like £500 - £5,000, then you have to consider the applications and consistency with your planned marketing (letterhead/packaging/TV/web/events/etc).

Happy to talk in further detail if you like - PM me.

Is that just designing a logo/brand? or is that supplying letterhead stationery, business cards etc?

That's the creative design. If you want something top drawer, it's a process that usually needs lots of high quality thought and effort, which = time, which = money.

Printing (letterheads, comp slips, business cards, etc) is additional.

We price depending on certain factors that relate to each customer. Such as, size of job and amount of work, the difficulty of each job and extent of experties required.

A branding job is normally between £300 and £1000 for the actual branding and the print is fairly cheap as this has normally been worked out during the branding process. If you'd like to have a chat, please give me a call on the number that is on the website and I can price over the phone.

We always give Pistonheads special prices!

It all depends on the job. If you are a sole trader, looking to start-up a new business, I will charge a much lower fee than if you were an established PLC looking to re-brand. The requirements from both clients would be very different and one would require an awful lot more time and effort thus justifying the additional expense.

There is a difference between someone who does a bit of freelance work on the side (who would probably charge £50 to £500) and a designer with an established portfolio and experience. If you are genuinely interested in branding, get in touch for a chat. Contact details can be found at: www.nuovonero.com
