Whose payed up and going on track?

I am!!!biggrin

First ever track day for me and im pretty excited. Used to Race karts growing up so have an idea of whats going on. Been on track at Snetterton last month as a passenger in a mates Radical, and drove Bruntingthorpe last week. But Snetterton will officially be my first track day.

Who else is going on track, its only limited to 40 places and i wonder how many have been taken up already.

Will be great to meet a few more of you guys and girls;)

I did my first ever track day at Snetterton before Christmas. Loved it. Bit of a trek up there. Used a B&B for the early start.
What car will you be using?

Hi,

I'm heading over to Snetterton on the 15th in a Tiger Avon - maybe a little slow for Snetterton as it's a Power circuit!

I used my RX7 in December. I don't have any other dates booked. You will have a blast I'm sure! Consider booking an instructor to help get the best out of your car. Remember to warm the car up fully and then a gentle lap after you have finished and park without any brakes i.e. on a flat piece of ground. Let the car tick over for two or three minutes so the turbo can cool down.

Cool, looking forward to meeting you. I've done Snetterton 5 times, all last year. I live reasonably close so if I've got some spare time I'll see if there's any trackdays on & do an afternoon there for about £60.00. Often there's not many on track as most have gone home at lunch.

Hiya,

I'll also be coming along in my 1958 Corvette Circuit Racer. I've raced there a number of times and my dad used to be a qualified instructor - its a good circuit. My dad loves to talk so anyone wanting some tips, he'll be the guy with the afro by our car (you wont miss it).

Yes, you should have one fitted front and rear (altough they'll hopefully not be needed). + also put some tape over your headlights in a 'X' pattern

Just looked at the forecast.... RAIN - end of game for me....

It better not rain! If so, that's £99 down the pan. frown
