There's some more info on this in the current "Bike" magazine. I showed it to a friend and said "bloody hell, a BMW that I like the look of".

It will apparently be priced at the same level as the equivalent Japanese sports bikes. BMW are obviously not worried about taking the fight to Honda, Suzuki and Kawasaki.

It looks pretty smart and it looks like it has everything it needs to be competitive both on the track and in the sales charts.

I think I'll wait for the panniers and heated grips options though!!

apparantly its going to be priced between the jap inline 4's and the 1098, so around 10-11k- the same price as a ktm RC8!!!!!

i know which one id have.
