PH East Anglia: Schedule of Stuff 2008

Here's the current list of events and meetings that Ian V and myself have lined up for you this year. The monthly meet is always on the last Sunday of each month unless it clashes with one of the other events. These meets are informal and open to all comers. Roadshow events (R) are display events which need to be booked - we'll announce each show nearer the time.
Sat 17th May: Shuttleworth Evening Flying Display
Sun 25th May: Monthly Meet
Sun 15th June: Easton Farm Park (R)
Sun 29th June: Newmarket (no monthly meet)
Sun 20th July: Kimbolton (R)
Sun 27th July: Monthly Meet
Sun 10th Aug: Duxford (R)
Sun 17th Aug: Rougham (R)
Sun 24th Aug: Stamford (R)
Mon 25th Aug: Lavenham (R)
Sun 31st Aug: Monthly Meet
Sun 21st Sep: Summer Run
If you wish to receive PHEA news and updates direct by e-mail, and are not currently on the mailing list, please contact either Ian or myself with your e-mail address. Meantime, let's just hope that the weather stays as it is today!
Hope to see you in a field or carpark somewhere this year

Bookings for Rougham close tomorrow so if you haven't got your ticket please do so asap!
Have you got a group booking of 'x' tickets for this or are we booking our own ????? Its never really been made clear unless I,ve missed something. Also have you done an e shot about this event ?I haven't received anything direct from Rougham this year so if I,m meant to book my own looks like I,m in trouble. I also have Rob Smith with the C3 Corvette wishing to come along again this year.

Rougham is a bit odd. They reserve a space for us but won't do block bookings, so all entrants have to send off £5 and a stamped addressed envelope. I know it's quaint but there's nothing I can do about it.
It's not to late to get a ticket. For simplicity I've downloaded the entry form for you and it's now at:
http://blokewithacamera.co.uk/Pix/Rougham2008.doc
Tick the box 'Sunday Only' and the line that says: 'Vehicle and two persons at £5.00 per Event'. Send it off First Class today and you should be fine.

John, I assume you have a list for those wishing to attend Rougham. Do you think it might be a good idea to contact those members to make sure that they are aware of this, as if I as an organiser has missed it, I,m sure that others may not be aware. We could end up with an empty stand on the day if people have assumed that a group booking has been made.
Also speaking with Phil with the Marcos yesterday, he wants to do Rougham as well.
Just looking at the forum, can't find any thread regarding booking for Rougham at all
. How many have we got booked ?

This thread was to announce all the PHEA events in one go and attract entrants - it has been stickied for some time although I agree it didn't include closing dates. A mailshot was sent round announcing them all in February, which attracted the people above but I appreciate there will always be late arrivals.
ETA: Just in from Rougham:

All applicants' forms have to be in by tomorrow to get in to the programme which goes to the printers tomorrow afternoon. After that we shall process them but they will not be in the programme - people who arrive on the day will have to pay £7 (instead of the advance £5) but will have to be in place by 9.30am. In other words report at the gate at at 9am.
All applicants of car clubs simply have to put the name of their club on their form - we then highlight that club entry so the stewards are informed!
So it's not as bad as you perhaps feared, but it would still be preferable to get your form in PDQ!All applicants of car clubs simply have to put the name of their club on their form - we then highlight that club entry so the stewards are informed!
