Engine Number

Where on the engine is the engine number? I want to check it's the same as on the chassis plate.

The number is on the drivers side front flange of the engine. Look under the air box at the front bottom of the engine, where the pumps are fastened on and the numer is stamped on the top face.

Not something you can check easily without removing GF cover in engine bay is it!!!!
