Is this the sign of an import??

Or is it something that can easily be changed at the flick of a switch to suit rider preference?

Pretty sure you can scroll through the menu to change the units.

that is correct, you can change the speedo to read mph or kph. it should tell you in the manual how to change it back

A good way to tell an import is to look at the Reg document for the engine number.On imports it quite often says not known whereas on uk cars there will be a number.

Mate I got an R6, just hold the select button down for 5-10 seconds and it will change over from KMH/MPH, I somethines flick it to KMH when I am flying home (me dreaming that the 200+ reading is not actually KMH's!).
