Can someone confirm, points/licence question?
Discussion
I was out all day on my bike today and got chatting to a mate and one of the subjects was the situation you would find yourself in if you were to get 6 points with the first two years of passing your bike test.
I am of the understanding that the 6 points rule only counts towards your first full licence.
For example I passed my car test in Septemeber 1995, and currently have a clean licence. I passed my Bike test in August 2007.
I believe that if I was to get 6 points within 2 years while riding a bike, I wouldn't have to re sit my riding test. My friend says I would.
Can anyone confirm either way?

The points apply to your licence and have nothing to do with the fact that you have taken a further test to add more categories to it so the 6 months will only count from the date you first obtained your licence.
Correct, I passed my test with 6 on my licence already...gained a further 6 within a few months of passing and no comment about '2 year rule'Gassing Station | Biker Banter | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
