Hi wavey

We were out in the 360 today, the clutch pedal went 'spongy' and it wouldn't go into gear. Had to come home on a flatbed

The AA man thought it was a clutch cylinder leak - the fluid is a little low but if it was leaking wouldn't we see the fluid on the floor?

Has anyone any ideas of what this could be and what it might cost , and does anyone know how to bleed the clutch?

PS. Hope no one says its down to the way it was being driven............. as I was driving , and I'm still trying to live it down

Hi,
My 360 "lost" the clutch pedal. (ie went straight to the floor!) Took it apart and it turned out to be a little alloy block mounted on the bellhousing that has the bleed nipple. This turned out to have come away from the threaded part of the bleed nipple. Thus it was as though the nipple was undone! I was going to get a new block (about£40 i think?) Put they couldnt get one in time so i removed the block (1x10mm bolt & pipe) and had a local engineering company "alloy" weld it for me. Cost £10. was fine after that! If you need any further info, drop me a line i'll talk you through it!
