My DD used to get just over 400 to a tank regardless of the conditions. Not bad, but not as good as I hoped for. I heard of some people getting well over 500 somehow.
I manage to get just under 500 miles to a tank on a long motorway run at a steady 70-75 mph (this equates to around 44/45 mpg). Around town (in heavy stop/start traffic) I average about 32 mpg but then again I short shift at about 2500 rpm and am usually in 3rd or 4th gear at 30mph. Doing this I can still easily keep pace with the rest of town traffic while saving a load of fuel for b road hooning ps the car has covered over 100k so the economy is pretty good all things considered
