7 day wonder

I am off on holiday today, in this country using the car. I NEVER carry any documents with me. If for example I arrive at my destination and am stopped on a routine check, I cannot provide my documents. I have 7 days to produce but this is nigh on impossible. What would happen?

zetec,where you are going you shouldnt have much in the way of problems as most of the cops in bognor do as little as possible (i can honestly say i NEVER got pulled over in bog-end).

watch where you park your car though as a couple of friends of mine went and when they came to get into their car some complete tossrag had put a large dent into their rear quater panel and decided to fcuk off and not tell anyone about it!(another job for me and my panel beating set)


i wish i was 18 again,i had such a laugh working at billy's place.........even if the wages were shite,the punnani outweighed the low cash payment!

Dont worry too much.
If you do get stopped and given a Hort/1 then tell the Police what the postion is and produce as soon as you get home..........if all your docs are in order when you produce then thats as far as it will go. If however,they arent then expect to be reported for failing to produce as well. A little bit of common sense needs to be applied by the Police which im sure would not be a problem in a case when youre on holiday.

When I was at Uni, I got pulled over, just before the end of term. Since I was driving back to London the next day and not returning for a month, I was allowed to present the documents at my local police station - the policeman wrote something on the HO/RT1 to that effect.
