Rear wing refurb?

What's the best way of re-finsihing the rear wing? The material on the top side of the wing looks kind of faded and the weave of the carbon fibre seems quite thin in places. It seems alright on the underneath. Can you repaint them or is it just time for a replacement?

Get it painted or lacquered.

I rub 3-in-1 oil into my wing and it comes up nice and shiney. You could give that a go first and see what it looks like.

I had mine resprayed the colour of the car and am very pleased I did.

I had the carbon fibre relaquered at a very reasonable price by a company local to me but they did say they would never do another one or at least not for that price anyway. The company are sole providers of Lancer EVO carbon fibre bits.

I would have to agree with above - colour code paint job is easier to maintain and refurb. Which is probably why they did it on later models.

However, the look of relaquered and polished CF wing after it looking like poo........no competition.

permanant way is to find your nearest fibreglass unit and have it gell coated
