Anyone out there have a spare known to be working flapper ecu. from a 4.5 !!!

Either that or a 4.0 as I want to eliminate my rough running issue and think my ecu's need resoldering.

Also any one know why really difficult to start in mornings

Seems to fire and then die, and you need to continuosly turn starter to coak it into life. Probably something simply like wet dissy, as always seems worse when been washed or raining overnight - damp somewhere ?

Have a look under the bonnet in the dark, with engine running. Might be sparks running around all over the place, and yes, give the cap a wipe.

Could be 101 other things of course.smile

Only thing I havn't done is take the dissy cap off, can't remember are you supposed to spray with wd40 in the cap, or does this make things worse

Don't think it's the leads as fairly new 10mm race leads so hopefully not broken down already

I would just clean in the cap with a kitchen towel.

Make sure the button is OK too...

Sadly my ECU is a 14CUX - else I'd lend it to you !

Probably not a lot off difference with the 350, just a different map for the high range, so idle might be ok ?

Oh - go on..

Stop talking about it and do it biggrin

It only takes a few hours .. then a few hundred on the internet to get others to make wild suggestions as to what you might have done wrong hehe

Got the crank trigger wheel on yet ?

Not done a thing yet, as having to change the engine on my daily driver, so that has put me back a bit. Probably going to wait for the mot to expire in July and do it then along with everything else it fails on this year. Plus still can't find my spare front pully to get you to weld smile
