Definitely - I'm on slicks, which won't be much fun if it doesn't...

So that was an entertaining day!

Watched one clio tbone another into the old hairpin and then had to dodge them both as one went right and one left.

quote of the day: 'A little bit of contact is alright isn't it?'

For reference above: when you've out braked yourself pulling the handbrake in panic is not a good idea. The clio 182 driver did this and that caused him to slide into the clio v6 infront of him. Looks like the 182 came off better as well.

message to 182 driver - soften the brake pressure when abs cuts in to shorten brake distance!

He's now banned from donington park. He had earlier overtaken another car (who had one of the crcuit instrctors in it) whilst fully on the grass - bouncing along!

Hi Keith,

Good to meet you on Sat. What camera set-up are you using here? Whilst it seems a bit "foggy", it looks like a good quality recording.

Think the std of driving in the Intermediate group was rather better than that shown by some in the so called Expert sessions.

Cheers,
Will

Hi Guys, First time at Donnington on saturday. We were driving the Scoob WRX sports wagon (black). really enjoyed the day!! the weather was great. We put ourselves in the beginner group as it was our first time at the track.
Just a note on the 182 driver... he was quite aggressive and even after being black flagged on the final session he continued to drive!! As for the blue mini driver... OMG!! get out the way dufus!! lol

Does anyone know any good sites to view and purchase racing cars? I ahve driven a Vauxhall Louts 2.0 before and would love to get my hands on one.

camera was going a bit 'dicky' needs a coat of looking at, when i came in from last session it was hanging off

wish we had been in inter group, much better driving & alot more quicker cars - think they were just filling groups up with anything

So what happens to the guy that was hit ?? He ends up with a smashed up car that he has to fix and pay for himself ??

Yep. Unless he can make the other guy feel suitably sorry for him to volunteer to pay something towards it, which is unlikely. You go on track at your own risk.
