Spare Tamora exhaust system

Having had a JP sports exhuast fitted, I still have my original Tamora exhaust system gathering dust in my garage. Don't know how much to ask for it but if anyone wants it and gives me a reasonable offer they can have it.

Also have got 2 original front discs (approx 20,000 miles left)- again anyone wants them.

Not sure when you had the JP fitted but it may cause a problem at MOT time and also if you want to do any track days, so the standard one gathering dust may come in hady at some point.

I was told the same with my supers sports. Passed last years mot and just about to take it in next week, i just put a rack in the garage and shoved it at the top out of the way for that rainy day!

Mot doesn't check for Decibels. Track Days do.

If the place is TVR friendly its unlikely you would get done, but......

b. a silencer in such condition, or of such a type, that the noise emitted from the vehicle is clearly unreasonably above the level expected from a similar vehicle with a silencer in average condition.

.... is apparently a reason for a fail. Seems a bit subjective...

Keeping my standard one for track days.

Seems mad not to do track days in a Tam as that's when they come alive (OK I've only done two so far but trust me - the cars SING!) so I'm intending to become an expert in swapping exhausts!

In keeping with similar vehicle was interpreted as 'Does it sound like a TVR should? Yep...now where is that emissions probe'. Although I think after the two st heaps that went through ahead of me, he was glad to see a car with some personality.
