Slow tank filling and wipers

Does anyone else have to trickle petrol into their tank otherwise it overflows? It can take 10 minutes to put £20 in. Is it a TADTS??
Also I was eyeing up my wiper blades on my daily car (Astra) and noticed they were flexible and really "sucked" themselves to fit the contours of the screen, on my v8 one of them overhangs the curve at the end. Is there anything more suitable for our cars?

Yep mines as slow as hell to fill got to be careful in case of splash back, (same as in loo in pub!!!)
Wiper blades saw some interexting ones on a V8S at Chatsworth inquired and was told "the blades are AERO WIPER BLADES off ebay @ £11.45 per set, the site is UK BULB CO and they are called (retro fit) flat flexi blades, just measure your old blades and email them through ebay."

Fitted one of the wipers this evening. You have to use the little bracket from the old wipers as the 'universal fitting' that comes in the box is not all that universal (not TVR universal anyway). It holds against the screen much better than the conventional ones and looks great. Nice and uncluttered. Bit dark in the garage but I'll post pics tomorrow.

position of the nozzle improves the problem only slightly for me.
The gasoline has become gassier in recent years, and the pumps are pumping faster. For the SUV's I guess.
I have found a local pump that pumps slightly slower, and there I can tank full "throttle" which means less presuredrop through the dosing valve, less foaminess to start with and a faster fillrate. It is a discount one too.
Every time I fill somewhere else, and get these cut offs when the gasoline becomes too foamy and does not fall quick enough through the fillerhose to let out air, I wonder if I should not simply enlarge the opening.
At least in my Dutch S3C, the filler pipe is blanked off at the end, then has a reduced centerhole, which is supposed to prevent me from filling up with leaded. To let out air there are some slots around the centerhole. The rest of the fillerpipe and hose is of "leaded diameter".
It would mean taking off the cap assembly and making the airslots fullbore. Perhaps just by sawing off the last 5 mm of the fillerpipe.
Of course it will cost an hour and saves a minute per fill-up. But at least you are not beaten in the forecourt by bigger cars with bigger tanks in fillup time.
Anybody tried that?

Got the blades from http://www.wiperblades.co.uk/index.php Use the 'Find blades by size' dropdown and select Flatblade retrofit 16" TVF40R. They're £6.74 a pop.
Conventional vs flat (the flat one still has the rigid protective cover on the blade)
Original vs New fitting - the 'universal' one on the left doesn't appear to fit so use the old one on the new blades
Drivers Side in place
Both sides in place
Incidentally I also discovered that I have adjustable length wiper arms too!
Its not a perfect solution but its certainly better than the conventional wipers. The passenger side gets cleared much more than before where the old wiper didn't bend and missed half the screen.
For £13 you really can't go wrong, even for improving the way it looks. Haven't tested at speed yet but I don't foresee any problems.
