After another day in the sun ( Billericay - Stansted - Stortford - Cambridge - Thaxted - Billericay burnt my head, face and arms ) the Griff started running a little rough on tick over. Never stalled but came close a few times but always sorted itself out.
When I got home the wife opens the NS door and I hear a buzzing. It's quite loud and coming from the NS rear wheel arch.
Is this where the fuel pump lives? Could it be the reason for the rough idle?

Try changing the filter first, if this is blocked up then it'llload up the pump causing it to buzz, its a damn sight cheaper than the pump as well
Should be done every 20K or so

It was serviced and the filter was changed only 400 miles ago. Could it be a faulty filter?Should be done every 20K or so

Well it's fine this morning
I'm now thinking the tank had a vacuum as I'd just filled up and heard a "wooshing" noise when first starting in the petrol station. (hot tank, cold petrol ect)
Carb can blockage?? Adjustment of the petrol cap may help.
If it does it again I'll open the cap and see if air rushes in/out.
Maybe the pump was working harder than normal hence louder buzzing.

That sounds about right to me also the fuel pump can buzz on a hot day in my experience
