Hi Peeps,

Couldn't start my S4s this morning. Battery was dead. Now with a three year old daughter that happens pretty often as she likes to switch all sorts of lights on when she 's in my car. Not this time however. When i managed to start the car I noticed the braking lights were going on and off...while i was outide the car....I it the brake pedal a few times and then they stayed off....TADTS?

Bend the tab that the brake light switch fits to so the lights go off reliably- I had the same problem. There is an official lotus fix- I think it's a stronger pedal return spring, but a hammer seems to work ok!

Lotus TSB-9 fixes this problem. Twice my dealer tried to fix it by improvising, but it did not work. I hate to think how many times I was driving around with my brake lights on.
