I must admit I have never ridden a twin and am much looking forward to it, even better three in a row (I booked slots on the Tuono, Mana and Shiver).
I should really leave my credit cards at home that day mind!
If you can Mana first, then Shiver, then Tuono.I should really leave my credit cards at home that day mind!

The Mana is just a bit of a novelty really. I'll probably end up with a Z1000 but even so I want to try the Shiver and Tuono before I decide.
I'll give you my honest opinion on the Zed. Its like a big Hornet, basically. A mate had one and when we went for rides out and swapped I found I actually preferred the Hornet. Bit more power on the Zed obviously but bizarrely not appreciably so when ridden back to back.
The Tuono is all about the engine, it really is a belter. I think you'll be impressed. Also Tuono's are on 0% at the mo with free Akras - certainly worth a look!

Thats very interesting about the CBR v Z1000, only CBRs I have ridden are 2005 RR (best sportsbike I have ever ridden to-date) and 1993 F, back in 1994. I recall the older one being very torquey and a great bike to ride, biggest i had ridden at the time and not at all intimidating. Without wanting to sound like I am dissing the Hornet, if the motor in it is anything like its parent then I can imagine it is a great bike to ride. I read the Z1000 is a real hoot to ride, but never ridden a thousand cc bike so cant imagine the feel of it. The Tuono is all about the engine, it really is a belter. I think you'll be impressed. I havent ridden that many bikes! Had a ZX7R but found it a little heavy, still, quite rapid and stable on the move but very linear power delivery.
ETA: meant to say I have never ridden a V twin, unless you count the 2 stroke 250s which are hardly torquey lol. Very much looking forwar dto the Tuono now you have used words like belter.
