Anybody help?

Where is the best place to buy BMW Parts, do we have to use the Stealer or do other companys offer a better price?

I'm after Brake Pads, Disks, Aux iPod Cable and Cruise Control this month smile

Pads and discs you can get from GSF or Eurocarparts.

iPOD connector would be BMW or a decent car audio shop.

Cruise control I'd imagine will be stealer or breakers.

Try ebay for the cruise control.

Give partsauction.co.uk a go they can usually get all parts but with discount.

Cruise control can be found via some of the breakers yards in the USA. I bought a kit from a massive yard in Sacremento via the web and its great.

Parts I buy from Motormec, who are in Lowestoft (Suffolk) and really know their stuff re BMW's. GSF or Europarts are also worth a shout, depending upon what it is you need.

Are there savings to be had sourcing (new oem items which gsf or Eurocarparts don't do) parts from Europe or the US compared to UK dealers? Or just getting trade discount via mates in the trade the same sort of savings?

I was going to also recommened motormec - they know what is OE equivalent generally.

Avoid unknown brake parts from ebay unless maker ascertained

I imported my pads from elite autoparts in america (when pound was stronger)
I'm running on PBR/Axxis deluxe pads - 90% less brake dust than OE albeit they squell a bit for the first couple of thousand miles.
