Haslam Exclusion at Oulton
Discussion
Watched the coverage of the Oulton Park BSB on Channel 4,(hence the late post) and can't really understand the exclusion. If anything it looked to be Sykes fault as he laid the bike onto Haslam. Sykes also seemed to be the problem at Thruxton. He does appear to be fast but is careless.
cant really say much as some would say i am biased but imho i think it was 50/50
what about the next time this situatuion arises, will they dish out the same punishment?
me feels not.
sour grapes from airwaves ducati and rizla me thinks, anyway, brands this weekend, ill be there, bring on the racing!!

i recon the old boy should give it a go!
Haslam is trying too hard, he is talented but is far too ambitious, wants to be at gp's and hes good but not that good, he knows he has to win it this year, hes been on great bikes fo years, he's a liability twice sykes has crashed out because of his desire to win this year, sykes has twic the talent that haslam, who has only got this far because of his surname, iv built up a real hatred for him in last 2 races.
I completely disagree with the exclusion, where will this end.
I have seen far worse incidents at BSB rounds for years without any action.
There was a debate at Thruxton that Haslam had some culpability in the Thruxton incident as well.
He got it wrong and admitted being frustrated behind Sykes, but he is not and has never been in my view a reckless or careless rider.I'm not a fan of his, in fact I am generally rather critical of him.
The debate is how far will this go in terms of future decisions etc . .

I'd say Sykes ran into the back of Haslam at Thruxton. Haslam seems to be the victim of Sykes's impatience to be the next big thing. He needs to recognise that he isn't going to win every corner but try to get the "next" one. Sykes is showing talent and balls He just needs to work on racing at the front of the pack.FeatherZ said:
