ran mine on tesco 99 all the time except for 2 occasions when i couldn't get S/UL, used generic 95 ron for a tankful or 2 and couldn't tell the difference to be honest.
Probably not a good idea long term though.

You CAN run them on 95, but don't. It won't run as well, or make as much power.

It won't harm it, but if you're going to run it predominantly on 95 you won't see the benefit of having an M3, so buy a 328i Sport instead.

Running 95 makes them run too lean. As a result the knock sensor will retard the ignition to compensate, but it's never a good idea to drive them hard like that for obvious reasons.

I've only ever once run it on a mixture of 95/98 and it ran like a dog with a significant loss of power.

Nope. There are quite a few differences between it and the 3.2 Evo. All of which you'll find here is you have a wee swatchy.

Don't run an Evo on anything less than super. It DOES make a massive difference. Anyone that tells you otherwise is clearly not paying attention. That BMW sticker is there for a reason.

Getting bloody expensive though. I paid £1.22 a litre the other week. rage

Asolutely but driven smoothly on a long journey you can get well over 30mpg thanks to the 6th gear which is excellent for a 3.2L car with that much power available.
