Noob detail question
Discussion
I've picked up a Meguires clay bar kit including a finishing was, I also have a full Autglym kit (Christmas present). My question is, can I clay, wax and then add super resin polish on top? I'd rather not have to buy anymore products.
I'm going to tackle this over the weekend, will post results.
Oh and on a TVR if that makes a difference.

Wash the car using a wash mitt, plus two buckets both with grit guards (one bucket filled with a quality shampoo, the other with just water). Dunk the mitt in to the clear water bucket before rubbing it against the grit guard then do the same with t shampoo filled one before washing the car from top to bottom.
Dry, use the clay with lubricant (unless you have a bar supplied by Bilt Hamber). keep turning the clay when it gets dirty nd don't drop it.
Wash the car again, one bucket method should be OK and rinse the car with an open eneded hose.
Dry witha decent drying towel, then polish, then wax and finish off with a decent microfibre. Job done.

Hi, asked this question on another site - so we are in the same quandary!!
The reply I got was that it would be ideal to get everything done in one go, but if not, then make sure that the car is absolutely clean, and that the clay has not been contaminated. Use Meguiars Last Touch Spray detailer to make sure it is thoroughly clean (fantastic stuff!!). Trouble is that the car will have no protection at all and will suffer the consequences if you have to drive it - but that's life - mine is now polished, but only half waxed - but, as you say, time is precious!! 5 hours seems like a long time to clay though - usually takes me about 2 hours - but then again, I may not be doing it right!!
