When I bought my Chim it had an abortion of a gear knob - some Halfords thing with flashing blue LED's - VILE !

Unfortunately its removal was not a straightforward as you might imagine - and after 5 people had had a look and spent many hours faffing with it we took a brute force approach. So now the cancer has been removed - but the thread on the stick is somewhat damaged can anyone tell what the standard thread of the stick is so I can try and source an appropriate die to re-cut the threads ?

If its relevant its a Serp engine with the Borg Warner box
