Following on from a conversation on a previous thread, here are meeting-up details for anyone wanting to go to A-F next week from anywhere near Coventry. Please put your name and car up if you're coming so I know who to look out for. I'll be in one of the Hondas...

Meeting point: Tesco car park, Walsgrave, Coventry. Postcode CV2 2TS
Departure time: 5.30pm

Maps here:-

Route:-

PS - the Tesco is the one below the Hospital, not the one next to the M6.

Sorry,
i doubt the car i'll be using will be loud or particularly interesting. If i was coming i anything it would likely be my Saab.

As for what i'll be testing - it'll probably be a sat nav or something. YAWN.

hello all,

i'll be popping along in my blue S3 as usual, dont you think you should be leaving a bit earlier as it may be very busy, & you dont want to end up in the other field?

first bit of sunshine all year will pull quite a croud I suspect, apparently there was around 100 cars & bikes there last month when it was miserable & the cricket pitch was shut.

just a thought?

see you there,

Richard

You may well be right Richard. If the weather's like today, it could be very busy indeed.

We can't get there until about 6.

Indeed.

I can be at Tesco's by 5.15pm at the latest, probably earlier if I'm lucky.

Graeme, Rich (& others) - how are you guys fixed for an earlier meeting time?

Departing Tesco at 5-15pm would suit me. We'll be there by 6pm.

Not sure i'll be able to make it anyway - might have to help with a feature. So unless i text you (Duncan and Martin) then assume i'm not coming.

Sorry (i'm gutted)

Would you believe there's some roadworks at/by the A46 roundabout by Tesco's! Couldn't tell if it was a temporary thing this morning or the start of proper roadworks - I'd not seen any signs warning of 'delays'

I'll pop out at lunchtime, see if they're still there and likely to cause a problem - I'll post up here and PM people if there is.

Don't PM me today as I won't pick it up until after A-F! Duncan/Graeme/Matt Oz have my mobile...

No worries, they're gone. Some "Police Accident" signs left on the n-bound carriageway though, so i guess they closed the road briefly this morning because of a major bump...
