Retro Fitting Power Steering

Well guys I posted on the chim forum and the miserable lot over there didn't give me a single reply, so I'm hoping for more here!
I have a V8S and have acquired a power steering rack (Griff / Chim).
I've looked at it on the car and although I don't think it has ever been done on a V8S it is looking very promising in that I think it will fit.
What else do I need?
Can a rangie power steering pump be fitted on a pre serp or are there issues with pulleys / chassis in the way or anything else? Otherwise I guess its an electric pump I need?
All advice appreciated.
