Motorsport tool chests - high end brands?

I searched and searched google yet I know they are out there.

I'm looking for a high quality small tool chest with a work area on top. I'm moving and was looking at my current arrangement and realized it is a real junker. Because I live in a major city I have to have my tools in my apartment. So since I'm moving into better digs I would like something a that would fit the "modern look" with clean lines preferably on castors that will lock. Demon Tweaks has Sealey but I was hoping for something a little nicer. To make it even more challenging being constructed largely of aluminum for lite weight would be bonus.

Anybody have the answer? I like what I see in F1 garages but I doubt I can afford a custom setup.

Try "Snap On", they normally give a Lifetime guarantee

As said before Snap On, or perhaps Britool? They were the main two years ago. There are others now I should think.

My mate has a Snap On one, the quality is fantastic and as said it has a lifetime guarantee.

He also has a trolley for it to sit on, which is very handy.

try the 'contractor' range from machine mart. They are about 1/5 of the price of snap-on kit and have the same sort of features. I don't think you'll find an ally box, as when loaded with tools and kit they become very heavy!

most proper teams use "lista" or "dura" neither are cheap, most teams get the stuff free or heavily discounted

I use Snap on and also Beta cabinets. For the money the Beta is good.

If the badge isnt important, at reasonable money the Halfords Professional range is also pretty good value.

yep mate has some also has lifetime guarantee that halfods do honor even better value if you know someone with a trade card

Got the Halfords Pro stuff, can't fault it. Could do with a breaker bar though.

Costco do a few stainless ones with wooden tops,not that the wooden tops were noted for their mechanical abilities but the prices are 50% of Halfrauds.Tempus

Almost all proffesional Race teams use Lista, www.lista.com
They are not cheap, but if you call the head office at Milton Keynes they generaly have a few ex demo cabinets for sale at sensible money.
Tools wise, most of the bolters use "Poseur Chrome" aka Snap On.

Why's that John, because your snap on is refered to as Poseur chrome, or you don't have Listas.
