Nary a clue to answer your questions, but just to add I think it looks fab! Shame it's not a V8 or I'd probabl consider it myself for a giggle!

If it has a nearly new engine and gearbox, as it states, and really is as good as it's being portrayed, then possibly worth it.

However if you are able to claim the VAT back it's not a million miles away from what you could buy a new pick up for, you could then add the posing bits as and when

You need to go and have a look at it to be honest. It may be good, or it may be absoloutley dreadful... you just can't tell!

What do you want it for? Are you likely to use it hard off road, or just commute in it?

I would as someone has already said probably go for a later one, say 2001 onwards and build it yourself as you want. The Q plate puts me off also.

Things like the interior, and quality of carpets and trim and so on can make a big difference! Seen a few where people have trimmed them in brown carpet! shocking!!

Etc etc.

Cheers
Pete.

Currently got my TVR for sale so cant do much until that is sold.A couple of my neighbours go offroading so i'm tempted to buy a Landy and join them in some fun and it would be quite an apt vehicle for hooning around our somerset b roads. The q plate doesn't worry me apart from when I come to sell it on again.Going to end up getting tax raped by the Government for post 2001 vehicles so am happy to buy pre 2001.The thought of a 200bhp TD5 appeals though!!!!biggrin
