need e9 diseal engine!! please help

iv had my e39 535d sport bmw for oalmost 2 years and only recently ive been told my piston has collapsed and i need a new engine!

where can i find one? and if i do how can i garuntee the mileage, and make sure its reliable?

would really appreciate anyones help out there. i live in essex

Guaranteed new engine or mileage is impossible . . . unless you have a lot of cash and order it from a BMW dealer and see it delivered on a create with all the right stickers and paperwork with your own eyes. BMW dealers buy 'recon' engines from scrappers like any other garage. Your best/cheapest bet would be an independent BMW garage with a good reputation, ask around and see who people in your area go to.

Did you have your engine 'chipped' or tuned at all ?

no did have my engine chipped

my injectors were playing up had few of them reconditioned and days after my piston collapsed, i blame the mechanic for doing sumthing faulty when replacin the injectors!

how bout if i look for a salvage bmw and get the engine removed from there?
sum one recommended me to that?????
