Great British Menu this week
Discussion
Ok, I do agree with Chris's view, that food can be nutritious as well as tasty, and he must be doing something right to get a Michelin star, but I get my good food at home, when I go to a restaurant I want things cooked in butter and cream, I want richness, I think his head's gone slightly up his own arse.
But Elisha's just bloody irritating so I dunno. I do fancy his starter though.

Well aye, tbh Elisha isn't a good example of cutting edge Britishness.
To be honest sometimes you look at the dishes and wonder if it's really the best they can do? Some of the dishes in the Masterchef final have been better. I wonder what Emily from the last series is up to now, she was something else.

Healthy eating is all well and good, but going out for a meal is a treat. When you go out you want tasty food, something special you don't get at home. I thought he was going to far with the whole healthy aspect.
Elisha was pretty crap though, not much in the way of modernity in his menu.
Only thing I don't like about this show is that Mon-Thur can be a bit longwinded. I think it would be better as a 1.5hr show. Looking forward to next week though, really rate Atul Kochar. Had some bar snacks at the bar attached to his restaurant a while back and they were a nice take on indian food.
