Let this be a lesson to me!!

Parked the Cerb on the drive two days ago and forgot to take the front of the radio. In itself not a problem but it drains the battery because of its clock. Usually she's on an Optimate so problem - not this time.
Flat as a witch's tit! Nothing, Nada, Zilch. Why does this always happen when you want a drive?
Anyway one hour (yes really) of getting the angle of dangle right to get in (;)) She's on the charger.
So, please feel free to give me a load of grief because I should have known better.

It's surprising how short a time from no doors at all,not even a try, to opening without a hitch when the Optimate is on
Two days! Blimey. Are you sure it's just the stereo? We really have to get to the bottom of this discharge (ooer) problem. I can get maybe 4 days out of mine.
That and the chocolate clutch parts are the only things that get me about the cerb.
ETA: the expression is 'cold as a witches tit'

You have either got a duff battery or a major drain. The battery should be able to play your stereo for more than 2 days before going flat (unless you have a massive amp!!!!!!!!!!).
Somebody with expertise in this area should be able to diagnose the issues some are having in this area. Has anybody solved this issue?
