As promised in The Best of the Rest thread, here are some photos from yesterday's trip to www.ClassicThrottleShop.com! For more detailed photoshoots and history on many of these cars, see the website! A few of my photos below. The 300SL has to be the most beautiful shape of all time IMO. I'm sure XJSJohn will appreciate the Porsche 911 RSR!

Oh my god!! They have examples of most of my dream cars there. The 280SL, the classic 911 Targa, the red Mustang....looks like a stunning place!!

Wow two pre 1956 spec D type without a fin! Single door and single screen. Just a work of art. Are they real or replicas? Judging by the exhaust on the one without the roundels replicas, but they look magnificent. Any chance of knowing more about them please?

Unfortunately I can't really help here as neither car is for sale and info on them is a bit scarce. The one in the overhead shot is kept fenced off so if either of them is more likely to be a genuine article, it's that one. I'll have a chat with the guys next time I pop in and see what's what. thumbup

Lovely cars but I have seen the prices which are way above world levels.

Strangely enough I was leafing through the latest Octane magazine and they have a third page size advert in it. (Page 191) Their internet site address is:-

Are they a new outfit?, they seem to have started advertising heavily over the last few months.

They do look to have lovely stock but the pricing seems a little ambitious (in the UK at least)

I agree the prices are very high indeed! In terms of the outlet, they've been around for years, but seem to have started advertising outside of the Asia Pacific region a whole lot more recently.
