On car disc skimming
Discussion
I had my in-board rear brakes on the old Rolls Royce done at the local toyota garage, aparently all toyota dealers have the machine. Only had mine done rather than new ones due to it been a right p.i.t.a to due and specialist hub tools needed. If the discs are easy to get off and cheap i would just buy new, I think the cost to have it done was around £120.

MMmmm are you sure its the discs??? I have a Run out tool if you want to check to see if the discs are true.
Our track car did this after we fitted the AP BBK. After a couple of hours we started getting vibrations so i swapped the DS300 pads that came with the kit for some Mintex ones and it has been fine ever since.

Is the mounting face of the hub clean and true? Is the wheelbearing ok? Is there any play in wishbones/radius arms that could be made more significant under braking? Is there any piston stick in the calliper?
Slarty....another early morning?
