TRC light stays on

my TRC light is on all the time. any ideas what could be the problem? thanks

tracton control. 53 reg 320 td se compact.

DSC light is the proper name i think.

the same thing happened when i changed the front brake pads, but it went off after turning the engine off and back on. could it be something to do with the brakes?

brake fluid, speedo, cruise con, and abs ok. the light is the amber triangle with circle around it and the Amber hand brake light is on 2.
think it might be 1 of the front speed sensors
